I’ll be married in four days. It’s almost unreal; I’m getting so incredibly nervous, yet relieved. I know that once it’s over, I’ll miss the planning and looking forward to what’s to come. However, I feel as if my life is truly beginning. We’re starting fresh, and it’s a good feeling.
I’ve had so much to do lately, so it’s been hard to find the time to write. Even as I’m writing this, I know I may have to cut things short because I have some more shopping to do today for our reception. In the past weeks, I’ve had bridal showers and a bachelorette party; I’ve finalized my flower choices, picked centerpieces (that I’ll be making), got our marriage license, met with our DJ to finalize music choices, met with the preacher for the final time before the wedding, and so many other things that I am forgetting at the moment. Tomorrow is our rehearsal & dinner. We’re having a cookout-pool party dinner, so that should be fun. You can bet that I’ll be loading up on the sunblock so that I won’t have tanlines (or burn lines, in my case) for the big day. Sunday is Father’s Day, and I have family coming up from Florida. Monday will be spent decorating everything, and Tuesday is the wedding. There is so much to do, with so little time, but I feel like it’s all coming out nicely.
In the midst of everything, I did notice that I was featured on Indie Bloggers (who is listed to the left, under my blogroll), and that has brought more readers my way, which is very exciting! Once the wedding is over and we’re back from our honeymoon in Asheville, I’m sure I’ll have much to write about. For now, though, I must go so that I can finish stressing over wedding details!
