Our Home (Well, sort of) Pt. 2

Saturday, Josh and his grandad worked on the basement some more, and so far, it’s looking good! Right now, they’re just putting foam up (the blue stuff) and the 2×4′s. They still have one wall to finish (plus other walls to build  to separate  the rooms, but that will be later).

This week, they’ll be finishing the last wall and then they’ll start wiring. We’ll have ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom and a few lights in the kitchen. Once they finish the wiring, they can insulate the walls & ceiling, then put the drywall up. I’ll probably go to Lowe’s tomorrow to pick out the color paint I want for each room. I’m thinking sage/light green for the bedroom and either a light grey or creamy color for the living room, but we’ll see!
