It’s Okay Friday

by Megan on May 8, 2009

Yes, it’s Friday again. These weeks have been going by so quickly for me! As always, it’s okay to…

-spend nearly $3000 to buy your very own car. (Totally worth it.)
-be completely excited about your very own house, even though the reason the renters are moving out isn’t ideal.
-want to stare at your new blog design all day long because you are so happy with it.
-relax for the latter half of the week because you were so busy during the beginning of it.
-read a few books in a couple days … because you haven’t read in so long.
-obsessively check the weather to see what it will be like in Myrtle Beach next month (beach time!), even though you know it’s not going to show anything this far away from the date.
-be annoyed that the weather has been rainy all week.
-cry while watching Grey’s Anatomy. (Okay, I do this every week, so we should know by now that it’s definitely okay to. Seriously, though. Who watched Grey’s last night, and what did you think? I mean, I bawled.)

What are your “It’s Okays” for the week?

totally cried @ Grey’s last night. It was an awesome episode. I may even watch it again. And cry again.

It’s ok to get smart with a coworker because he totally needs to mind his own business. :)
And blame your husband for our laughter when we are realling laughing AT someone else.

It’s ok to have trouble NOT kissing your best guy friend.

@remember moments: Um, yeah. I watched that scene with Alex crying AT LEAST three times, and I cried every time.

@Tiffany: Haha! Hilarious. It’s okay to laugh at THE SHIRT, too.

@Alana: That’s definitely okay. I always had trouble with that before Husband and I started dating.

@ “-want to stare at your new blog design all day long because you are so happy with it.”

Aw! You’re so sweet. Still so glad you’re pleased!

I teared up a little bit when Izzie was walking down the aisle and felt really sick and George came over to help her, but other than that I wasn’t overly impressed…

I don’t know. It’s just not doing it for me lately and I’m not sure why!! I was really annoyed about Alex having no facial hair in one scene and then facial hair again in the next scene. Izzy looked SO pretty though, I read somewhere that they might not kill her off, so I’m kind of curious as to what’s going to happen there!!

@Amber: I’m hoping they don’t because I love Katherine Heigl! I bawled again at the end when Izzie was crying. Next week’s episode looks awesome.

it’s ok to covet people’s blog designs and wish that you would finally just self-host already, but still not actually take any steps towards

it’s okay to contemplate calling in sick every day this week not because you feel crappy but you really just want a day off

it’s okay eat chocolate. because i’m a girl and i need it.

9 Megan/SomewhatVoluble May 8, 2009 at 11:04 am

@nora: I think I’ve had chocolate every day this week, so I hope it’s okay.

I think Grey’s has gotten totally ridiculous and is currently at full-blown soap opera-status.

And I still cried.

If I haven’t read in a long time and get a chance to, I usually knock out a few books in a couple days because reading is ALL I want to do.

I love the feeling of a fresh blog design. I still love to look at mine. Yours looks great!

It’s okay to jump up and down for fifteen minutes because you made straight A’s for the first time in a loooong time.
