I realize I was away from the computer for the majority of the weekend. It was nice to have three days off work, even though I didn’t have much planned. Something exciting did happen, though: THE RENTERS MOVED OUT.
The renters told us they’d be out by this Thursday, so when they were out by yesterday afternoon, I was elated. We did a quick walk-through of the house, and everything looks great. Josh’s grandparent’s handed the keys over to us, and his momaw said that we could do any sort of painting/decorating we want. (Um, excited much?!) I’m hoping that Husband will move some stuff this week while I’m at work so that we can get all of the big stuff moved in this weekend.
I don’t have pictures of the interior yet, but here’s one of the front of the house (I was standing in Josh’s grandparent’s driveway when I took it):
Things I’m looking forward to: the awesome yard; relaxing on the front porch swing; grilling out on the side porch; planting an herb garden with Husband; planting flowers around the front porch; purchasing a new “Welcome” mat for the front door.
Needless to say, I’m more than a little excited!

Are you guys going to be living right across the street from your grandparents? That’s so cool!
Having a house is one of the best things ever, as far as I’m concerned. You guys will have so much fun, and we can compare notes on gardening. =)

@Alicia: No basement! We’ll actually have our own house.
@Kyla: It’s across the street from Husband’s grandparents, and down the hill from his parents! It’s about 10-15 minutes from my parents. We all stay close!
