Things to come
Some things to look forward to:
-Moving into The House, obviously. We took most of our kitchen things yesterday, and I finally unpacked the plates we received as wedding gifts. We decided to wait until we got our own place to unpack all of our gifts, and it feels good to have all of this new stuff for our new home.
-Re-decorating some things in said house. My bathroom needs a color change. It’s lavender, and while the color is pretty, it’s just not me. I’m thinking more sage and brown. It will also need a new light fixture and mirror, which I’m actually looking forward to purchasing. Not only that, but we plan to paint other rooms, and we may eventually redo the carpet.
-Starting the Etsy shop. I’m going to be making sugar scrubs and salt scrubs. I will probably even make some body butters. I’m waiting on supplies right now, but in the meantime, I’m debating on design ideas for the labels and business cards. I have a name picked already (thanks to my co-worker, Tiffany), but it’s remaining a secret for a little longer.
-Cooking for Husband. It’s nearly impossible to cook for him now, since we’re living with my in-laws. (I always feel like I’m in the way.) It’ll be nice to have our kitchen (which has so many cabinets, I don’t know what to do with all of them), so that we can cook together and even invite friends and family over to eat with us.
-The one year anniversary. It’s coming up in a few weeks, and Husband and I have decided against going anywhere expensive for it. We will either cook something and have a nice dinner at home, privately, OR we’ll go out for a simple meal. We’re going to save any money we would have used for a … *drum roll* … puppy! If you follow me on twitter, you know this. We want to get a maltese, but it may be a couple months until we’re ready for one.
-My 21st birthday. June 1st is my half-birthday, so I still have a ways to go, but it’s something to look forward to. It’ll be nice to buy a bottle of wine without Husband on hand (so that I can surprise him with it … though I really can’t find a wine I like), or to just have a drink with dinner when we go out.
What are some things you’re looking forward to?

plain bananas
I look forward to having all my books in one place. I can’t wait to have a home that’s not temporary and actually represents me.
Enjoy making your new home your own

Aw, so much on the horizon! Being 21+ is wonderful – I hated being legal in Canada and unable to eat on the bar side of restaurants in the US. So much better now!

I can’t believe you’re not 21 yet. I didn’t start drinking until I was 22, but now it’s so nice to be able to get a drink with dinner or whatever.
I’m also looking forward to moving. The change won’t be as big as it is for you, but I like new places and getting situated–basically everything except the actual moving part!

Those are all such wonderful things!
I wish I was good enough at making something to start an etsy store.
