It’s okay to…
-forget about It’s Okay Fridays for several weeks.
-cry the entire length of a movie. (My Sister’s Keeper)
-do the 30-day shred and actually like it. (Because I do!)
-go to bed at nine (or earlier) every night for a week.
-get to work thirty minutes to an hour early.
-promise to stay away from the internet one evening and watch television instead.
-make your Husband see The Ugly Truth with you, even though he doesn’t really want to. (That’s happening tonight.)
-Leave early on Friday because you’ve been coming in early all week (and stayed late one day). (That’s happening today.)
-eat powdered donuts for breakfast.
-be cranky and take it out on the jerk at work. (That happened today.)
What are your It’s Okays for the week?

It’s okay to…
-eat chewy sweettarts for a mid-morning snack.
-stay late at work so another co-worker can leave early
-enjoy your date night with your husband!
it’s okay to…
- give up your diet for one night so that you can have Mexican food
- decide to do things only you want to do, even if it marginally upsets your family
- daydream while at work
- not look forward to a busy weekend
I’m stealing this for a post blog….hope you don’t mind!
i’m seconding nora except changing “daydreaming at work” to “daydreaming all the time”
It’s okay to…
Wake up late and be rushing like a mad person to work.
Want to be anti-social for no reason at all.
Go to be early even after having an evening nap.
Long for home and family out of the blue.
Re-organize your entire room for the sake of having things feel clean and different.
I’m going to go with it’s okay not to see My Sister’s Keeper, because I don’t want to deal with the headache I’ll have after crying for 2 hours straight. Hmm, powdered donuts sounds good. Oh, it’s also okay to eat pancakes for dinner and respond to an “It’s okay Friday” post on Sunday!
Umm, you def. need to watch GG! I can’t believe you aren’t already
I don’t even want to see My Sister’s Keeper..too sad for me!
Mine is that it’s okay to be sleep deprived and cranky at the lake, provided you get a home made perogie breakfast and nap with your husband later on =)
Dammit! I’m going to have to trick B into the Ugly Truth… he can’t STAND Katherine Heigl.
