Tuesday was a sleepy day; I wanted to spend time in my bed all day, but I couldn’t due to this thing called “work.” As soon as I got home, though, I took a short nap. It was glorious. | Wednesday brought a vintage Singer sewing machine from Husband. The machine was made in the 1950s (as far as I know), and it seems to work. I’m going to be participating in LA’s Home Ec sewing course, so Husband brought this home to get started on. | Thursday, Husband took me out to dinner to one of my favorite places: Greenlife Grocery (which is also a restaurant). I got a fruity poppy chicken wrap, and we shared some Cali rolls. (I secretly admit that I was hoping to catch a glimpse of Robert Pattinson, since he’s in Chattanooga, so I could use him as my 365 photo. Ah, well.)
And how was your week? Are you ready for August?

I love that you have a 1950s sewing machine now! Can’t wait to see what you come up with
That wrap looks delicious!!! And the sewing machine? Wow. Your husband is awesome. :]
My week was pretty good, I spent most of it online or in the kitchen. I love cooking for my husband (we’ve been married almost 10 months now), and I play this RPG (because I’m a nerd) that’s been really fun lately.
And no. I’m not ready for August. Because that means vlogging every day for a month, and I’m nervous about it. NERVOUS. But excited at the same time.
I hope your August rocks.
Ohhh sewing in general makes me nervous. I admire people who do it though! I’ve still been in vacation mode all week which is why our suitcase is still sitting in our living room half un-packed. (My goal is to get that done this weekend).
I don’t think I’m ready for August, but oh well! It’s traditionally our hottest month in the STL so I’m not super pumped about that but I am kind of already excited for fall, which is totally nuts, so I guess August means one step closer to boots, jeans, and sweaters.
Love your sewing machine. Can’t wait to see what comes of it!
I’m ready for August but the sad part comes in 3 weeks when the kids go back to school – therefore I go back to work.
Summer used to be so long, now it seems to fly by.
That wrap looks amazing. Kind of jealous as I sit here munching on a graham cracker for breakfast… I look at my kitchen, wondering when the last time I was grocery shopping, and can’t even remember.
Can’t wait to see what comes out of your home ec class!
That wrap has made me hungry.. AND I just ate dinner.
Love the sewing machine. Sounds like you have loads going on. For us, well, we’re just playing tour guide again!
