Sometimes, you just have to take a drive by yourself. Sometimes you just have to buy yourself a pumpkin spice latte and some flowers. Sometimes, you have to go for a run. Sometimes, you have to open the windows and let the breeze flow in. Sometimes, you need to take a break from stress.
What do you do to de-stress?

Gorgeous pictures.. I wish we had pumpkin spice lattes here. MUST HUNT ONE DOWN in America.
Oh Megan, stress is horrible. I think I definitely make myself more stressed than I have to be. As you know, I often go stress shoe shopping, but that doesn’t mean I always make an actual purchase. I find trying on shoes by myself can be sort of calming. That’s probably weird, right?
I also often buy myself flowers, or a magazine, as a treat to de-stress. Real Simple and Glamour are my favorites
Gorgeous photos, btw!
I try to do yoga as much as I can, especially while at school. I like this method because sometimes I don’t think I even realize when I’m stressed or why.
Gorgeous pictures! Hope you destress!
You know what, I’ve never bought flowers for myself in my life! I think I am going to take a leaf out of your book this week – we’re hosting a dinner party so I think nice fresh autumn flowers would look great on the table. And I’m so picking up a PSL on my way home tonight
To destress, the answer for me is ALWAYS music. Loud, favourite, or awesome new music.
I love the flower pictures. Absolutely gorgeous!
My favorite way to destress is just laying down in my bed, cuddling up with my dog, and reading a book. It transports me, makes me forget about my problems for a while, and ultimately puts a smile on my face.
Oh love this. I haven’t bought myself flowers in a long time but that always brightens my mood. And reading can take away my stress like no other!
Sounds like you’re doing a lot of good things to combat one big bad thing (that’d be stress). When I’m stressed I usually do all the wrong things – like nap & hope that everything’ll be better when I wake up!
You really can’t go wrong with flowers–the autumn colors are gorgeous! I usually just curl up in bed for a while to read, and that usually leads to a capnap of some sort.
That’s funny. A library patron just asked me this question a minute ago and I kind of answered it on my blog today. I destress by spending some time alone.
I completely agree! Yesterday I crocheted in a park for an hour, just because, and it was probably the best hour of my week. Making time for yourself is wonderful
