This is something I decided to start to help me find myself/remember where I came from. Each post contains an entry from one of my many diaries/journals throughout the years leading up to now. I may even slip some poetry in there that I’ve written. Some of the posts will be written in present day, but they will be about something that happened in previous years.

The posts are not in any specific order. I post them whenever I feel the need. So one may be from 2006, the next could be from 2008, then back to 2007. I’m hoping this gives my readers an insight on my life, a bit of a history.

In several of the posts, I will have mentioned my Granny and Pawpaw. They are my dad’s parents; Granny passed away in August 2004 from lung cancer; Pawpaw passed away in April 2005 from congestive heart failure, or as the doctor said, “a broken heart.” They were married for forty-two years, and they were my best friends, second parents. They were a huge part of my past, and they are a huge part of who I am today.
