It’s okay to…
-not go to work on Tuesday because you literally can’t move.
-cry every day, all week (because I did … mostly for no reason).
-watch Grey’s, cry a few times, and be COMPLETELY shocked at the end. Did not see that one coming. Oh, how I wish I didn’t have to wait ’til next season!
-drive an hour away to go out with a friend and let her pay for your dinner.
-let your dad fix stuff on your car just to let him know he’s still needed. (Now I have a CD player, new door handles, and my lights have been changed.)
-be broke all week. (Even though it sucked, it was a good experience to not have as much money as I usually do. So glad I got paid today, though.)
-ignore your blog for a couple days when you start having technical issues. (Luckily, I have an awesome host, and during that two day vacation from my blog? They fixed everything … EVEN THOUGH the problem had nothing to do with them–it was a problem with wordpress. So glad that Kyla Roma suggested them.)
What are your “It’s okays” for the week?

Yes, it’s Friday again. These weeks have been going by so quickly for me! As always, it’s okay to…
-spend nearly $3000 to buy your very own car. (Totally worth it.)
-be completely excited about your very own house, even though the reason the renters are moving out isn’t ideal.
-want to stare at your new blog design all day long because you are so happy with it.
-relax for the latter half of the week because you were so busy during the beginning of it.
-read a few books in a couple days … because you haven’t read in so long.
-obsessively check the weather to see what it will be like in Myrtle Beach next month (beach time!), even though you know it’s not going to show anything this far away from the date.
-be annoyed that the weather has been rainy all week.
-cry while watching Grey’s Anatomy. (Okay, I do this every week, so we should know by now that it’s definitely okay to. Seriously, though. Who watched Grey’s last night, and what did you think? I mean, I bawled.)
What are your “It’s Okays” for the week?

So, it’s May. Not quite sure how that happened. It’s okay to…
-eat a bowl of chocolate ice cream after walking & riding your bicycle a total of 2-3 miles in ninety degree weather.
-get your hopes up for a car that you might get. (We’ll see for sure this weekend, I suppose.)
-leave work early every once in a while.
-go through McDonald’s in the morning for an egg mcmuffin and a fruit & yogurt parfait. (‘Cause I did yesterday.)
-dart out of bed at 11:59pm (thinking it’s 5:45am) and start straightening your hair. (Husband came in from the bathroom, said “what are you doing?” Me: Getting ready for work. Him: It’s midnight. Me: Um. What? Yeah. Yeah, it was.)
-wake up three hours later and say something to your husband before realizing that you’re half-asleep and have no idea what you’re talking about.
-wake up a couple hours later (at 5:45 for real this time) and start shaking your husband (again, half-asleep) because you think he’s not breathing.
-realize that Wednesday night/Thursday morning, something must have been wrong with your brain. Or maybe you were just really tired.
-go to bed earlier on Thursday night. (Oh, who am I kidding. No way that happened since it was Grey’s Anatomy night!)
What are your “It’s Okay’s” this week?
by Megan on April 24, 2009

Yes, it’s that time again. (Honestly, I usually schedule these posts, but I keep forgetting.) It’s okay to…
-Forget about these posts until the very last minute.
-Count down the days to a new episode of Grey’s Anatomy. (It had been FOUR WEEKS since the last new episode, ugh.)
-Get bummed about plagiarism. It’s just not cool at all.
-Stay in bed on Wednesday and watch The Ellen Show and The View. (It also made my week go by faster.)
-Buy yourself a McFlurry, then call your siblings to see if they want one, too. Just because.
-Plan a trip to the beach with a friend that you haven’t seen in a year. ‘Cause we need a vacation, and we miss each other. Plus, the beach isn’t too far away.
-Plan a shopping day with said friend to buy summer clothes and swimsuits for the trip to the beach. (Shopping date is TBD, however.)
-Have doubts about your driving abilities. I’m going to be driving to the beach. The farthest I’ve driven is about an hour away. So, I’m slightly nervous. We’re taking a GPS, though!
-Wish away the next month and a half … because you just want to go to the beach, already!
-Talk/think about the beach too much.
